Beatriz is an artist formerly from America and now living in Melbourne, Australia. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NY in 2008 with a bachelors in Fine Arts, her major being in Comics Art.
She’s been attending anime conventions in both America and Australia for over 10 years, selling her artwork as well as enamel pins that’s she’s designed.
Now her focus is on Video Game Art. She’s a part of the Australian Game Collective known as Blushbox.
In 2016 she attended LYST in Norway, a 48-hour game jam that had a focus on Love, Sex and Relationships in Video Games. She did the character art and animation for a tamagotchi type game that was created.
In 2018 she helped organize Heartbeat, a 48-hour game jam that was in Byron Bay, QLD. She did the promotional art work as well as helped out on the day of to make sure the people attending were looked after as they created their games. The game jam also had a focus on Love, Sex, and Relationships in games. During the game jam she did the artwork for UFO STI WTF, a game framed around an alien getting STI tests. It’s aim was to talk about STI testing in a fun but informational way.
